Leadership & Expertise
Sizhi Duan, Founder & Technical Director
With over 15 years of experience in musical instrument manufacturing, Sizhi Duan leads Voxrise's technical innovation and quality assurance programs. His background in acoustic engineering and hands-on craftsmanship ensures every instrument meets professional performance standards.
Under his leadership, Voxrise has developed proprietary manufacturing processes that balance traditional artisan techniques with modern precision engineering, resulting in instruments trusted by music educators and professional musicians worldwide.
Our Engineering Team
Voxrise's R&D department consists of 12 acoustic engineers and instrument designers who continuously refine our manufacturing processes. The team conducts regular acoustic analysis, material testing, and playability studies to ensure consistent quality across all product lines.
Our engineers work closely with music educators and professional players to incorporate real-world performance feedback into product development, ensuring our instruments meet the practical needs of musicians at every level.
Our Manufacturing Methodology
Material Selection & Preparation
We source brass alloys from certified suppliers, testing each batch for composition consistency and acoustic properties. Our woodwind materials undergo a 6-month natural drying process followed by controlled kiln drying to achieve optimal moisture content (6-8%) for stability and resonance.
Precision Forming & Assembly
Brass components are formed using CNC-controlled spinning and hydroforming techniques, ensuring dimensional accuracy within 0.05mm tolerances. Key mechanisms are assembled by trained technicians using specialized jigs that maintain consistent alignment across production runs.
Acoustic Tuning & Quality Control
Every instrument undergoes a 7-point inspection process: dimensional verification, leak testing, valve/key action assessment, acoustic response measurement, intonation checking, finish quality inspection, and final playability test by trained musicians. Instruments that do not meet our standards are returned for adjustment before shipment.
